I actually never built it because no one replied. I honestly just don't know at this point. I am thinking about making a really standardized set of amf-php classes and AS components for Flex/Flash. With authentication, there's alot going on: registration, login/logout, forgot password, reset password - the list goes on. Beyond just the amfphp and database work, there's alot of ui work.
